Art Project

Art project, cuidArt

Denia’s Hospital, from the very beginning and through the cuidArt Art Project, aimed to improve the patient’s stay by humanizing the healthcare areas.

It started since the very moment the new Hospital’s design was conceived to be a sculptural project integrated in the building.
The DKV “Art and Health” pictorial model collection can be added to this artistic expression and it is displayed in several areas of the hospital.

The exhibition room, which is located on the central corridor of the ground floor, is one of the cuidArt main bases. This exhibition room was born and developed with the idea of the art being part of the patient’s and professionals day-to-day. So it is an entirely open space with temporary exhibitions from the majority of artists of The DKV “Art and Health” project, and also cooperation with suppliers of nongovernmental organizations which develop the projects of Corporate Social Responsibility, RSC.

We are especially sensitive in case of the chronic patients, such as the ones who suffer from renal failure, as they need to stay several days a week in the Hospital. Special art workshops were specially designed for them, they include different disciplines: painting, music, theatre and live art. These are some of the most outstanding demonstrations that the Haemodialysis patients can benefit during their dialysis sessions.
